Mag+ Project 2

For our second project we were to focus more on pinning objects. Pinning tells objects which edge of the screen to seek when device orientation changes...in other words it tells objects where to move when you rotate the device from vertical to horizontal view. One of the main goals was to make words  read one way in the vertical view and then another once you rotated to the horizontal view.

I did this project for an organization that I am very passionate about called To Write Love On Her Arms you can learn about it here: http://www.twloha.com/.

The words I chose to make change positions were "Love" and "The Movement". By pinning love 'top' and pinning 'The Movement' bottom they switch positions when changed to horizontal view which you can see further down the page. The pink box that contains 'TWLOHA' is a link to their website.

As you scroll the A-Layer up, information about the organization begin to scroll in to view.

Once you scroll the information half-way up the page, it automatically jumps to the next page. On this page I have created links to important parts of the TWLOHA website. Each of the 9 banners on the right side of the page (inlcuding the one in the bottom right hand corner in the pink box) is a link to another part of the TWLOHA website or other websites associated.

Horizontal View

Here you can see how the words change position in the horizontal view. 'Love' is now on bottom and 'The Movement' is on bottom.

This free online community offers ways to communicate with other members through forums and membership groups.
